Home cinema theater
Posted by admin in Uncategorized on May 11th, 2009
Due to the ever increasing advancements in technology the field of electronics has a lot of new products to present. Gone are the days when people would crave to go to the movie theaters. Now after an exhausting day at work more and more people prefer to enjoy a good movie at the comfort of their home. This is where home cinema theater systems make their appearance. Just have a high definition TV, a surround sound speaker system, perhaps a few comfortable chairs and you are ready for a relaxing and rewarding night in.
With the surround sound you will get even more the feeling of being into a real cinema theater. Usually, the surround sound components include two speakers, in the least, in the front of the viewers and a couple of speakers at the back or the side of the room. Current formats usually divide the various sounds to different speakers according to sound’s onscreen instigation.
What the receiver amplifier does is to take the sound from the different components and reproduce them accordingly. The receiver usually consists of audio and video audio and video inputs, preamp, a surround-sound decoder, power amps for every speaker and outputs for the television and speakers. The receiver takes the signals from the various components, such as the television or the DVD, and after you select which signal you want to feed the signal is given to the selected component.
Hidden TV

The idea of owning a hidden TV may not have occurred to you before. After all, many people want their TV to be a major focus point. There are lots of hidden perks of owning a hidden TV, though.
Among other things, TV sets that are built into furniture pieces take up much less space when they aren’t in use. They are also great topics of conversation. There’s nothing quite like having friends come over and hitting a button and having a TV pop out and surprise everyone.
If you have kids, though, being able to conceal the TV can become a matter of family control. As we all know, kids these days can get easily engrossed in the television. If your kids need to do homework, need to go to bed or are just being punished for something, hiding the TV can be very handy. You can simply put the TV away with the click of a button, unlike a normal set.
Along those same lines, pet owners should invest in hidden TV sets, too. If you have pets, especially large, energetic dogs, you might find that things around your house get broken on a regular basis, especially when you are not home. If you use a TV lift system, you can stow the TV away when you go out, making it impossible for your pets to break the TV.
So, although the idea of hiding a TV may sound odd. It can be very helpful when you aren’t watching the set. It can be a space saver, ensure quality time with family and make sure the kids get plenty of rest at night. It might sound like something out of a high tech movie, but it is actually reality in many homes. Why not make yours one of them?
